The ingredients for The Cure are not only where the in-game maps tell you they are. If you are resourceful and keen-eyed, you may find other locations. This is essential if you are trying to escape Eden as fast as possible in order to get one of the Achievements.
If you are ready to throw an item, you cannot drown or suffer serious falling injuries (glitch used in speedruns)

Secret QR code
Right at the end of the credits this QR code appears with no explanation. Following the link encoded in it leads you to a special message from the developers and an easter egg.
At the end of the game as you escape, you find a copy of Milton's Paradise Lost, which is an allegorical reference to Robert Hughes' past and world events leading to this point. Robert Hughes actually doesn't exist and is not mentioned in any of the journal notes, and is an anagram of Herbert Gough - the member of the expedition who went mad and murdered his colleagues.
